2024 Season Fully Booked


Lochside is a Self Catering holiday let for 6 - 10 people, & can be booked as a single house with either 3, 4 or 5 ensuite bedrooms. We are situated near the village of Blackwaterfoot on the West Coast of the beautiful Isle of Arran.

The house stands alone on seven acres of land that includes two small lochs and extensive gardens with flowers, shrubs and mature trees which guests are welcome to use for taking a leisurely stroll around the grounds with the lochs a haven
for wildlife including swans and ducks.

Lochside is perfectly situated to witness uninterrupted sunsets over the Kilbrannan Sound towards the Kintyre Peninsula and on a clear day you can even see Ireland!

The village of Blackwaterfoot is walking distance away so positions Lochside in a quiet, peaceful location but close to many attractions and amenities the area offers.

ACCOMMODATION

BEDROOMS
There are a maximum of five bedrooms, all ensuite and each with TV & hair dryer :-
2 x Large double bed – bath/overhead shower
1 x Large double bed – shower enclosure
1 x Standard double bed – bath/overhead shower
1 x Twin (2 x single beds) – shower enclosure

KITCHEN/DINING
Fully equipped with an Aga cooker and also a range cooker with gas hob & electric ovens.
Dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave & washing machine.
All crockery, cooking utensils, pots & pans, small appliances, cutlery and glassware are included.
Within the kitchen is a dining table to sit up to 10 people.

LOUNGE/SUN ROOM
Lounge with large flat screen TV & DVD player which leads into the Sun Room where
you can enjoy stunning views of the garden and across to the Mull of Kintyre.

LINEN
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided but we ask
 that you please bring own beach/swim towels.

UTILITIES
All electricity, oil fired central heating and gas for the cooker are included.  Free Wifi.

GARDEN
Lochside is set in extensive grounds which include two small lochs, due to this all children must
be supervised at all times as the grounds are not enclosed. Garden furniture is provided.

DRYING ROOM
There is the facility to dry any clothes, shoes/boots, equipment, etc in our boiler room.

STORAGE
We offer storage for outdoor equipment, bicycles, golf clubs, etc.

PARKING
There is ample parking, cars may be parked in guest car park at front of building.

CHILDREN
There is a travel cot and high chair available on request.

PETS
Sorry, pets are not permitted in this property.

SMOKING/VAPING
Smoking or Vaping are not permitted in this property.

CHANGEOVER DAY
Changeover day is a Saturday but this is flexible in the low season.
Arrival time from 4pm, departure time by 10am.

SHORT BREAKS
Short breaks of a minimum 3 night stay are subject to availability,
outside of main holiday periods. Please contact us for further information.

LOCATION
Lochside is situated near the village of Blackwaterfoot on the West Coast of the Island
 and is a 10/15 minute walk along the shore to the village centre.
As Lochside is located in a quiet area, we respectfully ask that all guests are quiet
 after 11pm and keep noise to an acceptable level at all times.

SELF CATERING  -  TERMS & CONDITIONS

A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required to secure Lochside, if the deposit
 is not received within 7 days of the booking we will assume it is cancelled.
Should you wish to cancel your reservation more than 60 days before the arrival date,
the deposit will be refunded only if we are able to fill the house for the dates booked.
The balance is due 60 days before arrival date.

There is also a security/Good Housekeeping deposit payable with the balance. This deposit
 is returned within 7 days of departure subject to any charges for any breakages
 costs or excess cleaning. Any damage occurring to Lochside property, fixtures & fittings,
 other than acceptable wear & tear, will be charged to the guest responsible.
